Using AMD Ryzen and Threadripper CPUs with faster peak gigahertz speeds and other performance enhancements by AMD truly outperforms every other Intel Xeon, AMD EPYC and Amazon Graviton CPU. ServerCloud is able to deliver unmatched performance at unparalleled value due to its willingness to go “wide” on its cloud node deployment, instead of “tall” within individual servers. This means that we deploy more servers, all of them individually faster and with a smaller RAM footprint. Other providers deploy individual servers as cloud nodes with lower gigahertz speeds and up to terabytes of RAM, all to be shared in an environment that may include resource over-subscription.

Using Geekbench 5 to compare the performance of Amazon’s most expensive and performant Intel CPU instance c6i.2xlarge which uses Intel’s Platinum Xeon 8375C against ServerCloud’s CP3 with AMD Ryzen 5950X demonstrates substantial performance advantages. The Geekbench 5 Single-Core Score is a good indicator of performance for workloads not multi-threaded. ServerCloud’s CP3 testing yielded 36% single-core performance advantage over Amazon’s c6i.2xlarge instance. Even more impressive and important, ServerCloud’s CP3 testing delivered a 71% performance advantage in multi-core testing. This is significant because most customer environments are represented correctly with multi-core benchmarks as they use multiple threads for workloads.
